Revenue & Reservation Manager of Continental Hotel Budapest****Superior
Balázs Mikó earned a degree in tourism economics at the Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences in Budapest in 2010 and, two years later, he graduated in sports management from Semmelweis University.
He began his career at the five star luxury hotel Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge in 2009 where he worked in the position of Reservation Agent. As one of the successful candidates for the application invited by the Accor hotel chain, he spent five months at Hotel Mercure at the Belle Plagne ski resort in the French Alps as a receptionist in the winter of 2010 and spring of 2011. On returning to the Sofitel, he was promoted to the position of Reservation Supervisor and, in 2011, he was awarded the title of Supervisor of the Year.
On 21st February 2013 he joined the team of Continental Hotel Budapest as Reservation & Revenue Manager, where he is responsible for leading and managing the Reservation team as well as developing and coordinating the hotel's yield strategy. He speaks English and French.
